Joe Bear

Fresh from his bath at the end of the rainbow, here is Joe bear!

Made with scrumdillyicious acrylic yarn in all the colours of the rainbow, Joe goes with any outfit and any decor. Especially that Dreamcoat at the back of the closet.

He is a one-of-a-kind hand-knit bear made with acrylic yarn. His eyes and nose are vintage recycled buttons. A bit of multi-colour double-sided ribbon adorns his neck, tied in a playful bow. He was knit with as much love as I could possibly put into him.

He stands: 17 inches tall.
He's sized: One size fits all hugs.

If he ends up out playing in the mud in your backyard and needs a bath, he can be cleaned carefully with a damp cloth.

Because of his button eyes and nose, we don't recommend him for children under 5 years of age.

If Joe matches the clothes you're wearing right now (and we bet he does), why not check him out on Etsy by clicking this post's title?

Hi aims,

Your bears look so lovely - I have some patterns I want to try when I finally get some time :-)

Years and years ago I made some care bears for my kids and they loved those teddies more than any of their others.

Thank you so much for the link to the alpaca gauge it is adorable, I'll have to keep a look out to see if they get any more. Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, time is just flying by and it's currently so hot - well for me at least - that half the time all I want to do is sit still as any movement sees me dissolving in a pool of water!

Wishing you much success for selling those adorable bears!!
Have you done Etsy before?
I'm fairly new to it. I've gotten a few sales, but haven't formally introduced my page to family/friends yet really so we'll see how it all goes.
Great work! Good luck!

Dnd - I thought that alpaca guage was you! I know you are busy - not to worry.

Merry - Thank you! I have tons more to post...just have to get around to it...

Mae - And thank you!

Crystalchick - This is my first attempt at Etsy. I have sold a couple of pair of slippers in my first week...so happy about that. I don't think right now is a good shopping time for anyone. Wouldn't we all rather be trying to get some kind of summer out of this year?

Gill - I sure enjoy making them! Have 2 huge shows coming up in November and December where they'll probably get snapped up. They usually do.
